Molds are very common in buildings and homes here along the coast because mold grows well in places with a lot of moisture in the air.

Mold spores are discharged and spread through the air, exposing you to it and increasing the likelihood that it will grow on other surfaces in your home or business. Spores can even be found in dust.

It affects people differently, but exposure to molds can lead to allergy-like symptoms, wheezing, and itchy skin or may be more severe and cause fever and shortness of breath.  Some molds produce toxins which can be more serious and even have long-term health impacts.
